I have completed my Articles of Clerkship with KPMG Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe and worked at another audit firm in the Republic of South Africa. I am a hardworking and organized individual who pays attention to detail and who has assumed Auditor in Charge, Group Accountant and Finance and Administration Manager roles in my field of work. I am currently sitting for my final year final semester of a Bachelors Degree in Accounting Science with the University of South Africa. I have been involved in accounting and audit work for Mining companies (Gold and Asbestos), Manufacturing companies-(furniture, rubber, exhaust, pharmaceutical products, bolts and nuts, textile), Service industries (electricity distribution and transmission) and Non Governmental Organizations(Donor Funded Organisations) and Financial Institutions(Banks). I am currently the in country Head of the Finance department for a Construction Company that is present in 14 African countries. I have held this position for the past 7 years. I have worked with numerous accounting and audit software including Sage X3, Pastel, Caseware, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word only to single out a few. Furthermore, I was involved in the performance and review of income tax computations and have also handled clients' queries on tax issues covering taxation of individuals, corporate tax and value-added tax.
